Nine Network Examines the Health Insurance Marketplace

28 October 2013

Nine’s Jim Kirchherr will host Health Insurance Marketplace: A Community Conversation on November 11.

One month after the Affordable Care Act’s Health Insurance Marketplace opened, the Nine Network takes a look at how it’s affecting people in our region. Three programs to be broadcast in November will explore the impact of expanded health care insurance options from different perspectives.

On Monday, November 4 at 7:00 p.m. (repeated November 9 at 3:30 p.m. and November 18 at 2:30 a.m.), Open for Business reports on the Health Insurance Marketplace, which opened October 1. This half hour program looks at what is working, what isn’t, and who is affected.

Watch Open for Business:

Stay Tuned on the following Thursday, November 7 at 9:00 p.m. (repeated November 9 at 2:00 a.m.) delves into the topic of health insurance with host Casey Nolen, health policy experts and live contributions from viewers via social media.

The next Monday, on November 11 at 7:00 p.m. (repeated November 16 at 3:00 p.m. and November 18 at 3:00 a.m.), Health Insurance Marketplace: A Community Conversation asks members of the community to weigh in.
